Team, roles and security
Invite colleagues, choose what they can do, and protect sign-ins with two-step verification.
Invite your team
Open Team → Invite someone and enter their email address. They get a link to accept and sign in with their own password.

|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and other owners. An organization always keeps at least one owner. |
| Admin | Domains, mailboxes, groups and the other admin tools, and team members who are not owners. |
| Billing | Overview, activity and billing only — useful for your accountant. |
Two-step verification
Turn it on for your dashboard account under Account settings → Two-step verification, and for a mailbox in webmail under Settings. After the password you enter a code from an authenticator app. Keep the recovery codes somewhere safe — each one works once if you lose your phone.
App passwords
With two-step verification on, Outlook and phone mail apps need an app password: create one in webmail under Settings → App passwords, one per device, and revoke it if a device is lost.
Sign-in alerts
We email you when your dashboard account or mailbox signs in from a new browser or a new country. If it wasn't you, change the password straight away.
